ABOUT ME
My name is Wesley Smith, CEO of ROTO Solutions LLC. I was born in Memphis, TN and raised by my grandmother and uncle who took care of me. Growing up, I didn’t have the financial tools and resources to understand how to be financially successful in a world full of opportunities.
At the young age of 13, I began a part time job working at my uncles truck site were he worked as a truck driver. After a week of hard work I received my first paycheck for the first time in my life. I soon found the value of a dollar at a young age being that I was able to buy myself my first cell phone with my first paycheck. I also realized how fast money comes and goes and if you’re not careful you’ll spend it all on the wrong things. Things that will cost you money and not make you any money. My first learning curve happened when I turned 18. I applied for my first credit card and it shipped to me 3 days later in the mail. This credit card had a limit of $300 dollars and it didn’t take long for me to max it out where I only paid the minimum. Not realizing that paying the minimum would only collect monthly interest. It wasn’t until the age of 22 where I realized that “Credit Is King.” I stopped paying the minimum and looked to pay off my credit balance monthly in order to boost my credit. Thats when I realized that “good credit” meant lower interest rates, better likelihood of qualifying for a loan, and larger credit lines.
Currently 27 and wiser than my earlier 20’s, this information gave me the momentum I needed in life to leverage the credit lenders (credit card companies) would give me. Credit was the first stepping stone to where I began to think about all the assets I would soon obtain. I started ROTO because my goal is to share every piece of information I know on being healthy and financially free.
